Recently, the Tähtipäivät 2011 team meet together for the first time in Turku, a beautiful city steeped in layers of history, architecture and academic learning.
The team were able to evaluate the immense task of organizing next year's event. For some members it was a wonderful
first time encounter with the appliances of astronomy, namely Finland's most majestic observatories situated in and around Turku. A big thank to all their friendly and
informative staff members. It was an honor.
